Ja’mir Parham

“Who am I? A person in the sky, one of many. A common penny but who am I? These words fly with wings from my thoughts onto the lines of the paper in front of me. Feverish with a reverend's passion and a scientist's curiosity, I paint the atmosphere as if it were a canvas. I write poem after poem yet what consumes the rest of my heart is science. The secrets of the universe and the concepts of reality plague my mind as my thoughts leave Earth.

A mad scientist fascinated with knowledge, sprinting into the unknown. Even a mad scientist has to work with flair, I can't go out without my dapper suit. I love a good meticulous tuxedo.

I am a man of the arts, a scientist, a poet, and an author, all with a good sense of fashion. Some may call me a Renaissance man, a shadow of the past.”

Ja'Mir Parham is a high school senior and an incoming freshman of Elon University as an Odyssey Scholar to pursue physics and creative writing. He loves science and philosophy; always questioning the world around him but what truly rules his heart is romance stories which is where his mind runs wild like the child he still is.
